Tom Fowner is a long time South Florida tikiphile. He has been attending The Hukilau since 2004 and became a regular vendor shortly after.
Tom is currently working as the in-house artist at the Mai-Kai. His participation in the Mai-Kai remodel paved his way to finding a home at the historic Polynesian show.
The skills used for the class are a direct reflection of techniques in restoring many of the fish floats at the Mai-Kai. Join him in creating a novel souvenir and learn a technique for tying fish floats — or anything else you want tied up.
